Something wrong in a listing?
Open the place in the app and suggest an update or report a problem. Our team checks every change before it goes live.
Delete your account
In the app, go to Profile → Account → Delete account and confirm. No app? Email us from the address on your account. Full details of what is removed are on the Delete your account page.
Claim a place
If you run a shul, restaurant, grocery, school, kollel or mikvah, you can claim its listing for free with Kehila Local for Places.
- Sign in to the app and verify your phone number.
- Find the place and tap the claim banner on its page, or go to Profile → Kehila Local for Places.
- Choose your role and how to show it is yours:
- a code sent to the phone number on the listing;
- an email to an address at the place's own website domain;
- a person you name who can confirm your role, or approval from someone who already manages the place;
- or a document, such as a letter on letterhead, a licence or a utility bill. Our team reviews it, usually within 2 business days, and the file is deleted 30 days after we decide.
- Manage it: update details, hours and times, post announcements and events, add photos and a menu, reply to reviews, invite your team and see how people found you.
The app is not in the stores yet. Until it is, email support@kehilalocal.com with the place's name and address and your role, and we will help you get set up.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can browse the map, places, zmanim and events without one. An account lets you save places, write reviews, buy tickets and suggest updates.
Why do you ask for my phone number?
To keep the directory for real members of the community. It is checked once by a text message and stored only as a one-way code plus its last two digits. See the privacy policy.
Is the kashrus information a guarantee?
No. Certification is checked against the agencies' lists, but it can change. Always confirm with the certifying agency. See the terms of use.
